6. Claiming Prize:

Winner will be announced and notification email will be sent out within 5 business days of the drawing result. Winners will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and where lawful, a Publicity Release, and other required information within 5 business days of notification. Failure to respond in a timely manner, or if prize notification or prize is returned as non-deliverable, or if winner is found not to be eligible or not in compliance with these Official Rules, disqualification will result and an alternate winner will be selected. There are a lot of companies that offer hijab pins and Tasbihs but our hijab pins and tasbihs are handmade.  These pins go through a set process before we even offer them on our website. 

Step 1: The Design 

Sketches are made of what we would like a hijab pin to look like and we take input from our customers as what they are looking for.  That is why you find so many Swarovski Hijab Pins on our Website.  The crystals are unmatched in brilliance by any other brand.  We have been at this for years and we have made mistakes.  When we look back at our first designs we cringe after all there is a learning curve in everything.

Recently one of the founders of Ummah Couture decided to sit down and tell the story of Ummah Couture and we thought you would be interested in hearing it as well, so here it is.

"I remember being in college and visiting websites on the net and at that time there were limited number of websites.  I wondered if there could be a way to set up a company that promoted modesty and brought unique products for the Muslim community.  I started talking about it with friends and if you ask them I probably talked their ears off about setting this up until one day one of my friends asked me why don't I just start it.

We know that there haven’t been any posts or updates on our blog for a while but our blog us up and Insh'Allah we will post more often, but we wanted to let all our fans know what is going on with Ummah Couture.

While we have extended our line of products to include clothes we are also extending our business model. We are looking for business minded individuals whom love our products and already and are telling their friends about them. After seeing how excited people were to see us at ISNA and getting great feedback from you via e-mails we want to extend to everyone out there the opportunity to become a Sales Representative for us. While the initial acceptance rate for out testing phase will be for 10-20 individuals we hope to expand this outward and have a rep in all major cities.

While hot summer days fade away and cool, crisp fall slowly creeps around the corner, sweaters and long pants come out of hiding; but as a hijabi, long attire is worn year round. As I walk around campus, colorful leaves of intricate colors decorate the ground, warning us that fall is here; girls zoom by on their scooters fashioning leggings and Ugg boots and maybe a long sweater to keep them warm. While as a Muslim girl, the weather becomes “hijabi friendly” cool enough to feel comfortable in long sleeves and pants and warm enough to not have to wear a thick sweater; making fall my favorite season of the year.

Sitting in the large community hall of my masjid with only a few minutes left until the Maghrib prayer call, I couldn't help but marvel at our congregation. The air was thick with the aroma of maqloobeh and kebab, children were busy chasing one another through the maze of dinner tables, while families excitedly chattered away, it was another typical community iftar dinner.

Recently I had family over for Iftar, and when it came time for Maghrib prayers I went to grab our usual white sheet which we use for when we have company.  I stopped myself before my hand touched the linen closet door.  Such a silly thing to do when I had the tester Pocket Prayer Mats in my office.
